The Staff
The program’s staff would consist of an Education Director, a Managing Director, and a staff of 4-6 other full-time advisors. They would be involved in the creation of the program’s “curriculum”, and in addition to providing mentoring and supervision to the students, they would arrange and run workshops and seminars as a supplement to the curriculum. Everyone on the staff would be encouraged to pursue professional work outside of the program, and would be given the flexibility they’d need to maintain that part of their professional careers.
In addition to the full-time staff, a guest director would be hired for each semester’s production. These directors would be chosen for their interest in providing an exceptional education experience for their students, as well as for their creativity, flexibility, and above all, their openness to creating a collaborative piece of theatre.
The entire staff of the program would be held to a high standard of providing a professional atmosphere for the students, while putting the educational experience above all else.
